PORTRAITURE

For everything you never want to forget.

Refined family, maternity, newborn and senior portraiture throughout Houston and Sugar Land.

THE ART OF REMEMBERING

More than photographs. A record of your people.

The way your child reaches for your hand. The laugh you know before you even hear it. The season of motherhood that somehow feels endless and fleeting at the same time.

These are the details I want you to remember.

Your Sage + Willow portrait experience is designed around genuine connection, beautiful light and thoughtful direction, creating photographs that feel polished enough to become artwork, while still feeling completely like your family.

FAMILY PORTRAITURE

The ordinary days become the ones you miss most.

Family portraits don't need to feel stiff or perfectly posed.

I'll guide you when you need direction and step back when the moment deserves room to unfold. The result is a collection filled with connection, movement and the little interactions that make your family yours.

Beautiful enough for your walls. Real enough to take you right back.

MATERNITY PORTRAITURE

Before you meet them, remember this.

There is something extraordinary about the season before everything changes.

Maternity sessions are thoughtfully styled and gently directed to celebrate your changing body, your connection and the anticipation of the little person you're waiting to meet.

The result is elegant, timeless imagery that honors this chapter exactly as it deserves.

SENIOR PORTRAITURE

Who you are, right before everything changes.

Senior portraits should feel like the person in them, not a version of everyone else's session.

We'll create a session around your personality, style and interests while keeping the experience relaxed and fully directed.

The result is modern, confident portraiture that celebrates exactly who you are in this moment and everything waiting ahead.

NEWBORN PORTRAITURE

The very beginning.

These quiet, thoughtfully styled sessions preserve the smallest details of your baby's earliest days and the beginning of your family's newest chapter.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

You bring your people. I'll take care of the rest.

  1. CONNECT

Tell me about your family, your vision and what you hope these photographs will mean to you.

  2. PLAN

We'll choose the location and talk through wardrobe, styling and the details that bring everything together.

  3. CREATE

I'll guide you throughout your session while leaving space for the genuine moments to happen naturally.

  4. PRESERVE

Your strongest images are carefully finished and delivered as a collection designed to be enjoyed long after the session is over.

What you wear matters. Figuring it out shouldn't be stressful.

THOUGHTFULLY PLANNED

Wardrobe plays an important role in the way your final photographs feel, but you won't be left to figure it out alone.

Before your session, I'll help you think through colors, textures and coordinating pieces that photograph beautifully while still feeling like you.

The goal isn't matching. It's creating a look that feels cohesive, timeless and natural to your family.

A woman with long blonde hair and a young girl with blonde hair hugging each other in a field of white flowers under a cloudy sky.

You don't have to know what to do either.

GENTLY DIRECTED

You don't need perfectly behaved children. You don't need to know how to pose. And you definitely don't need to spend your session wondering where to put your hands.

I'll guide you through the entire experience, when to look at me, when to look at each other, where to stand and when to simply let the moment happen.

The photographs may feel effortless, but the direction behind them is intentional. That's how we create images that feel natural without leaving the outcome to chance.

Photographs become more valuable with time.

THE INVESTMENT

The photographs we create today become part of your family's story tomorrow.

Every Sage + Willow portrait experience includes thoughtful planning, personalized direction and carefully finished imagery created with the intention of lasting far beyond the season you're in.

Stories I've had the privilege of preserving.

“She captured our family perfectly, not only with the kids, just the amount of fun he had. Definitely going to use her again and again.”

FAQs

Everything you need to know before your session.

Where will our session take place?

1

Sessions are available at carefully selected outdoor locations throughout the Missouri City and Sugar Land area as well as studio locations when appropriate. We'll choose a setting that complements your vision, wardrobe and the overall feeling you want for your portraits.

What if my children don't cooperate?

2

Children aren't expected to perform for the camera. Some of the most meaningful photographs happen in between the perfectly planned moments. I'll guide your family while allowing children room to move, connect and be themselves.

Will you help us with wardrobe?

3

Yes. Wardrobe guidance is part of the planning experience. I'll help you think through colors, textures and coordinating pieces so everything photographs beautifully without feeling overly matched.

My partner hates having pictures taken. Is that a problem?

4

Not at all. Most people aren't naturally comfortable in front of a camera. Sessions are fully guided and relaxed, so no one needs to arrive knowing how to pose or what to do.

Do you photograph extended families?

5

Yes. I do photograph extended families and have done so. Family up to 25 people and no I do not charge extra for your extended family members.

Someday, these will be the photographs you treasure most.

YOUR PEOPLE. YOUR STORY.
