Your maternity session is thoughtfully planned around you, with guidance on wardrobe, location and styling before we ever begin.

During your session, I'll gently direct everything from your hands and posture to movement and expression, creating portraits that feel elegant and intentional while still feeling completely like you.

Wardrobe plays an important role in creating timeless maternity portraits. Before your session, I'll help you choose colors, textures and silhouettes that photograph beautifully, flatter your changing body and complement the overall vision for your portraits.

Whether your style is soft and romantic, modern and minimal, or somewhere in between, we'll create a look that still feels unmistakably you.

The goal isn't to transform you. It's to photograph you beautifully in this season.

WHEN TO BOOK

The sweet spot for maternity portraits.

Maternity sessions are typically photographed between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined while you're still comfortable enough to move, pose and enjoy the experience.

Every pregnancy is different, so we'll choose timing that feels right for you. If you're expecting multiples or have specific scheduling considerations, we can plan your session a little earlier.

I recommend reserving your maternity session in advance so we have plenty of time to thoughtfully plan your wardrobe, location and overall vision.

You don't need to wait until your third trimester to book.

Maternity portrait experiences begin at $550 plus tax.

Every session is designed to feel personal, relaxed and intentional—because these aren't simply photographs of how you looked. They're a record of a chapter you'll never experience quite this way again.

A few things you may be wondering.

  • Most maternity sessions are photographed between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined while you're typically still comfortable enough to move and pose. Every pregnancy is different, and we'll choose timing that works best for you.

  • I recommend reaching out during your second trimester whenever possible. Booking early gives us more flexibility with dates and plenty of time to thoughtfully plan your wardrobe, location and overall vision.

  • Absolutely. Wardrobe guidance is part of your experience. We'll talk through colors, textures and silhouettes that photograph beautifully and complement the style you're envisioning.

  • Yes. Partners and children are welcome. We'll create a mix of portraits focused on you as well as images that capture the connection and anticipation surrounding your growing family.

  • Yes. Depending on the look you're envisioning, maternity portraits can be created in studio or at a carefully selected outdoor location throughout the Houston and Sugar Land area.

  • You don't need to. I'll guide you throughout the entire session, from your hands and posture to movement, angles and expression, so you never have to wonder what you're supposed to be doing.

  • Final selected images receive professional finishing and natural retouching. My approach is polished while still keeping skin, texture and the details that make you look like you.

  • Sage + Willow maternity portrait experiences begin at $550. Your experience includes thoughtful planning, wardrobe guidance, direction throughout your session and professionally finished imagery. Additional details are provided when you inquire.
