Beautiful photographs don't happen by accident.

THE SAGE + WILLOW EXPERIENCE

The experience begins long before I pick up my camera.

From thoughtful planning and wardrobe guidance to natural direction and carefully finished imagery, every detail is considered so you can arrive feeling prepared, confident and completely taken care of.

A woman with long dark hair wearing a pink strapless dress with lace details on the bodice, holding a baby girl dressed in a cream-colored lace dress and a matching headband with a flower, against a dark background. The woman is looking down with a gentle expression, and the baby is looking at the camera. The text in the image reads "Sage + Willow Photography."

WHY THE EXPERIENCE MATTERS

You shouldn't have to figure any of this out.

Where should we go? What should I wear? What do I do with my hands? What if my children don't cooperate?

Those aren't things you should have to solve on your own.

My role goes far beyond pressing the shutter. I'll help you plan the details, guide you throughout the session and pay attention to the things you shouldn't have to think about, so you can be present while I take care of the rest.

FROM BEGINNING TO END

Thoughtful at every step.

  1. CONNECT

It starts with a conversation. We'll talk about what you're envisioning, who we are photographing, how the images will be used and what matters most to you.

  2. PLAN

We'll choose the right location and talk through wardrobe, styling and the details that bring your session together. You'll know exactly what to expect before the day arrives.

  3. CREATE

Your session is fully guided. I'll direct posing, movement, expression and all the little adjustments that create photographs that feel natural, polished and completely like you.

  4. PRESERVE

Your strongest images are carefully selected and professionally finished with the timeless, refined approach that defines Sage + Willow.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Preparation changes everything.

The difference between a good portrait and an exceptional one often begins before the session ever starts.

We'll talk through location, wardrobe, colors and the overall feeling you want your photographs to have. For professional clients, we'll also consider your industry, brand and how the imagery will be used.

Nothing needs to be complicated. It simply needs to be intentional.

IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA

You don't need to know how to pose.

Most of the people you see in my portfolio aren't models. They're families, professionals, parents, teenagers and people who walked in saying some version of, “I'm awkward in pictures.”

That's completely okay.

I'll guide you through the entire session, from posture and angles to expression, movement and where to put your hands. When a moment needs direction, I'll give it. When it needs space to happen naturally, I'll recognize that too.

You never have to wonder what you're supposed to be doing.

CHOOSE YOUR EXPERIENCE

Different reasons. The same attention to detail.

PORTRAITS

For families, maternity, seniors and the seasons of life worth preserving.

A diverse group of seven people, including children and adults, standing outdoors in a wooded park during sunset, smiling at the camera.

For executives, professionals, business owners, and teams ready for imagery that reflects where they're going.

PROFESSIONAL
